Motion-activated means it's easier to squeak. Small dogs and gentle chewers have no trouble getting lots of squeaks. Tossing, shaking, dropping--sometimes just holding the toy--is enough to get it to squeak. 

Our squeak sounds are based on testing what dogs like. We could program any sounds in the world, so we found just the right ones. They are more interesting than one of those ugly honking squeakers. Dogs love it!

An interesting toy!

My Irish Terrier is quite the toy destroyer and now most of her toys are heavy-duty rubber, so I decided to give the ChonkyToob toy a try. The quiet varmit sounds are quite intriguing to her, but not overly exciting and warranting a voracious attack and destroy session. This toy has quietly joined the rest of the toys, played with for a bit then ignored. This is a wonderful toy and I highly recommend it. Especially if ‘exciting’ toys become a destructive obsession for your dog.

Dogs loved loved it. But my super chewer super chewed it and it’s about half the size it was in a day. She’s still playing with it so 4 stars from me!

My dog LOVES this

My Border Collie, Sadie, is very particular about toys. She is a strong chewer and can destroy toys quickly. She also becomes bored with toys. She generally has one or two she regularly retrieves from her toy basket.
Let me tell you, this Chonky Toob is an all time favorite. Sadie plays with it several times a day, sometimes throwing it in the air, moving rugs and blankets with it, and sometimes she just has a great chew.
I know this is providing necessary mental stimulation for her very smart brain.

Nesting

These tubes are definitely as strong as advertised but I did not know that my dog would start to "nest" with it due to the light sounds it makes. Interesting outcome!

My dog has no interest in it so I gave it to the neighbor dogs who also have no interest in it. The sound is very quiet. Is it supposed to be?
